Privacy Policy

• Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your role on the site.
• Orders and shipping: items, prices, shipping address and phone number, and order history. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Auctions and comments: your bids, maximum bids, auction wins, and comments you post in the Lounge, on auctions or on episodes.
• Members Vault:your membership status and where it comes from (Patreon or a complimentary membership from us); which episodes you watch, how far you got, and your playback-speed setting; a device identifier for the "how many screens at once" limit; and hashed (not readable) versions of your IP address and browser details, used to stop shared or abused logins.
• Log in with Patreon:if you use it, we receive your Patreon user ID, your email address and whether Patreon has verified it, and your membership in our Patreon campaign (whether it's active, your tier, your last charge result and next charge date). We do not receive your payment details from Patreon, and we do not keep the login token Patreon gives us after you sign in.
• Email and notifications:your email-marketing choices, the emails we've sent you, and browser push subscriptions if you turned notifications on.
• Site analytics: we use Plausible, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

To run your account, ship orders, run auctions, give members access to the vault, keep memberships in sync with Patreon, prevent fraud and abuse, answer your questions, and send the emails you've asked for. Order and auction emails are always sent; marketing emails only if you opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every one.

Only the services that run the site for us, each for its own job: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Mux (vault video streaming), Patreon (membership checks, only if you link Patreon), Resend and Mailchimp (email), Plausible (anonymous analytics), and shipping carriers (your address on the label). We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in and a few cookies needed for checkout and security. We don't use advertising cookies.

Account and order records for as long as your account exists and as long as tax and accounting rules require. Vault viewing history while your account exists. Patreon link details until you unlink, close your account, or we stop offering Patreon login, after which they are deleted within 90 days.

You can update your account details on your account page, unsubscribe from marketing emails from any of those emails, and turn off push notifications in your browser. To access, correct or delete your information, email info@chpod.com. Some records, such as completed orders, we must keep for tax purposes.

The site is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you by email about significant changes.
